From November 7th until 13th, we’re putting the spotlight on responsible gambling as part of the Responsible Gaming Week organised by UKGC (UK Gambling Commission).

Throughout the week, you’ll be seeing various messages promoting safer gambling in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Responsible Gambling Week

What Is Responsible Gambling Week?

The Responsible Gambling Week was brought to life by the entire gambling industry to encourage an exchange between customers, staff and the wider public. It wants to shine a light on some of the misconceptions there might be and highlight the strict rules that are in place to provide a safe and fun gambling environment.

The main points highlighted throughout the week are:

  • how to gamble responsibly;
  • the tools that are available to help people gamble safely all year round;
  • sources of more advice and support.

You will see marketing messages online but also in your local bingo halls and your local bookmaker.

The whole of the UK and Irish gambling industry – amusement arcades, bingo clubs, bookmakers, casinos and online – has come together to support Responsible Gambling Week.

What is happening during the week?

The main reason why Responsible Gambling Week was brought to life is to get people talking. We want you to take a closer look at how and how much you play at Pink Ribbon Bingo.

Over the cause of the week, we’ll be highlighting five key behaviours of gambling responsibly:

  • Play smart… Know when to stop.
  • Play smart… Check our self-limits tools.
  • Play smart… Know when to stop.
  • Safer.Better.Together…this is how we do it.
  • Play responsibly within limits.
